the cambridge museum

skipping around a wee bit here - last saturday gee, doreen and i took a trip into the lovely township of cambridge, about 4km from the osmond farm, to have a look around and visit the farmer's market and see what there was to see. the town is tiny and has several charming shops and streets and cafes and lots and lots of trees. we stumbled upon the free cambridge museum which was the perfect place to dodge the rain for an hour and had some really wonderful displays of cambridge life dating back to the late 1800's, and two adorable and passionate docents that were more than happy to answer questions, show us around AND let us pet their stuffed fox (not native) and stuffed white possum (also not native). we had a great afternoon of it and have recommended the museum to several others since.
