last thursday matt, doreen and i drove down to te awamutu and the regent theater to see the kiwi flick 'boy.' the movie was super - well worth a watch if you have the chance - and the theater was amazing. the regent theater is very retro and decorated in old hollywood memorabilia with posters and film reels and thick red curtains... very cool and totally unexpected.
