joy-bell the cow... this is the osmond's milking cow, but unfortunately for me she is currently pregnant and so she is "dried off" or not being milked until after the calf is born. so, no milking for me at this point but i like her anyway and enjoy feeding her grass by hand (for fun). she is by far the loudest of the cows here and the bossiest and pushiest... she always has to be able to see the other cows but at the same time she has to be separated from them because if she is in a paddock with another cow (except for mark, previously) she headbutts them and bullies them until they escape through the electric fence. so, she is confined by herself but calls to the other cows constantly - and she sounds more like a fog horn than what i thought a cow was suppose to sound like.
