the osmond cob house

this is the osmond cob house (from the front) that we are currently working on. the frame is in and now we are building the cob walls (the far wall that you can see on the left is cob) and insetting the glass bottle windows. the cob (mixture of sand, clay and straw that we mix with our feet) is taking a reeeeaaalllly long time to dry because it has been wet and cold over the last few weeks. the next phase is to fill in the front with cob walls as well (the open spaces you can see in the photo).
